• Re: Fly 150 run-in progress ans impressions so far

Sounds like you are having fun with it. I didn't do any mods and I had the tyre pressure nowhere near 39 psi. Good luck with it.
• Re: Rusty GTS 250 exhaust pipe

Hi everyone, I was on another web forum and read this. "Yes it's common to a degree... When you fitted the Leo, you didn't undo the downpipe nuts did you? Just fitted the silencer straight onto the pipe where it was, which put a bit of pressure on the bend, and broke it, which is why the breaks like it's pulled ripped ...

• Re: PM Tuning PM56 Ordering and Install

Wow mate, looking good. 110km/h even indicated was something I couldn't do, well maybe down a certain hill on the way to Wollongong. Nice job.
• Re: Sydney, We Ride "Coz We Can" Sunday 28th AUGUST

[quote user="petegailey"] Over dinner tonight the decision was a ride south on Sunday weather permitting. Meet up at the cafe at Redfern Park Chalmers St Redfern 9am for a 9.30 departure. Plan to surf the escarpment via Nasho, Bald hill, Mt Ousley, Albion Park, Mac pass, Robertson and then possibly home via Kangaroo Valley but will ...

I'll look into that muffler stuff. Will it make it hard to take off? Anyway the second clamp cut down the exhaust leak lots, it was only a trickle of air. I got my wife on the scoot and got her to rev it up a bit and the leak seemed to go away.

• Re: Rusty GTS 250 exhaust pipe

Ok, so I got the clamps and put one on. I can still feel some hot air coming from somewhere. Is this normal? I'm tempted to put the second clamp on. Anyway I'm going to do a bit more investigating to see if I can determine where the air is coming out

• Re: Rusty GTS 250 exhaust pipe

I still have the old clamp but the bolt is broken and I couldn't get it out to replace it. I have a couple of clamps on order they say it will only be 2 days, so I'll have them then. It's good to know that it doesn't go all the way up, That means I don't have to take it off and put it back on again. I'll keep you ...

• Re: Rusty GTS 250 exhaust pipe

I may not be finished afte all. Fired her up and smiled and then checked that the join wasn't leaking. It feels like a little bit of air coming out of the join. Should the slip on exhaust go all the way up to the round rim thing. Is a little bit of air ok, am I imagining, would it look smoky?. I thought I would tightening the clamp .... ...

• Re: Rusty GTS 250 exhaust pipe

Thanks for everything Mike, brilliant to meet you. So I'm in a much better mood this morning. I got up and waited for the light, took off the bolt I put in to secure it over night and took the pipe off. Put it back on and saw that the holes were almost right, so I pulled the exhaust away from the scoot a bit and they seemed to line up a ...
