Good thinking, I'll check the Tyres out, and the battery I had not thought about at all. Got too caught up with the excitement of a new toy

I have been away from here for a bit, but I was hoping to get people's opinion on a dilemma I have. on Saturday (2 days ago) I dropped into my local kymco dealer to order a new oil screen plug for my 250cc kymco scooter.  Anyway as it happens they have an 2008 Aprillia Scarabeo 500 there. I took it for a ride and its nice, hardly used ...

Sorry for the slow reply.  The work they did at Specialty Canvas in Fyshwick was great. Nice big string zipper, and not too bad a price from memory. Jacket has worked flawlessly since and would definately use them again.

  • Re: I Need A Jacket for Summer-What's Recommended Pls?

Thanks for the suggestion. I had not thought of doing my own inserts.  Looked at Neds but yeah I am too fat for those sizes. What I actually would like is a set of overpants, but I think I will also try getting custom inserts sewn in as suggested. Really good idea.
  • Re: I Need A Jacket for Summer-What's Recommended Pls?

[quote user="wombat"] I'd rather dig a thread than start a new one. I just bought a Shift "Backdraft" jacket. $150 at the clearance bin from my local Honda dealer. I think I bought wisely for the following reasons It's white (not black which traps the heat It's fully armoured (shoulder, spine, elbow and ...
