  • kevlar shirts??

Oh yeah, baby, you read right...KEVLAR SHIRTS. When I ride in Asia, I take my own helmet-the ones U can get there are basically upended icecream buckets, my own light gloves+ light motor bike jeans. i pass on taking a jacket as it is just too freakin' hot! I now see that you can get kevlar Shirts...anyone tried them? no, I don't mean ...
  • Re: I just fell In love with a Honda Helix.

Yes, the Helix  is truly hideous...BUT strangely attractive....all those 80's angles! Some of the customs look great. And you wouldn't settle for a Spacey? there's a few around
  • Re: 2017 Sydney Motorcycle Show

yeah, these shows can be good especially the weird stuff. U see it and think,"That'll never make it into the showrooms!" Mind U , I thought that about the Yamaha 3 wheeled 125
  • Re: Too many !

yep, gotta go along with all of that.....One of the reasons that i chose current helmet ( Arai) is the colour is cream-white with a slight pearleat hue. Also, who wants a black helmet in the Aussie sun? Black absorbs heat, as we know.: great for wet suits but not for helmets! Hmm, re vest, I actually own a reflective vest: i really should get ...
  • Re: Vozz - Rear opening helmets

Hi all, I recall, as I'm sure do others, the intro of full-face helmets: I remember "Bell" as being " the brand" in the day....seemed expensive and revolutionary at the time. maybe these are same? Maybe a few years from now everyone will have one? I must admit, if I hit the pavement, I want something SOLID....the whole ...
  • Re: How do the new 110cc's compare to a PCX125?

When they're run-in, I wonder which will be the faster? My feeling is the Honda will run out of steam at about 85k....could well be wrong
  • Re: Random....

yes, good point, Pyrah. Also, there seems to be big bucks for little gain sometimes...not all the time. You know, a bit of reflective material, bit of nylon on the knuckles and suddenly it's $200. Me, I use the Dubbin to soften them and a good hit with the waterproofing spray. I think fashion too can add $$$......some of the Italian gloves, ...
  • Re: Random....

Yes Gaz, a larger scoot in CC that is not like a tank......nice idea. Some of the recent Asian offereings, Kymco, Sym and TGB were good  and folks liked them but a bit too maxi-scoot for me. Re gloves........nice. I cannot see why some cost well over $300.
  • Random....

    1. Gloves... Recently bought great pair of winter leather gloves on line for $29.....unbelieveable value. OF COURSE I hit them with Dubbin to soften them....works a treat. These bad boys , besides being a decent length, even come with"Thinsulate" lining. Last cheap pair I bought was in 2011...still going strong, better than the medium ...
  • Re: Scomadi are here

I went to Scomadi UK and, re top box, the answer is no. You CAN get a very tasteful strap-on leather case but not a top box as we know it. Ferr, you may be right but in 2017, I'm not lugging my helmet and gloves around when I stop at the cafe for a skim decaf choy latte with cinnamon, Scomadi lovers, here's another + more detailed ...
