Hi all just got myself a prestine 2000 model Italjet formula 125 twin, 6000km from new and very well looked after. Just done roadworthy but needs new battery. I know battery is under fueltank by parts diagram but do I change it through the seat tub or remove under fueltank panel? Just want to know before I start pulling bits apart. Thank you in ...

Maybe the vacum lines are connected the wrong way around. Have seen many problems caused by this. It really does matter where each vacum feeds from. If it didn't there would be only one line branched out. 

Choke only effects starting when cold. Check your vacum line to the fuel tap and make sure the fuel tap is opening  

30000k outa a stock 50 2 stroke? It would be running very sad. New piston and rings every 10000, new ring/s every 5000k. new top end 30000. Use the best 2 stroke oil you can afford that is easily available eg sold at brand name garages etc. Using oil that is not readily accessable is no good if you run out 300kays from home or shop. Polini variator is about 450 euros. Holes would be worn on roller slides due to lack of lubrication which 90% of scooter service people do not know that the rollers must be greased on these scooters.  

Lets scooter Brookvale sell daelim's so they should have a belt for yours, kevlar is better, and yes you should clean it all out. As for the case gasket I do not run them too much of a hassle.  Use a strap wrench to undo variator, but a rattle gun is really the only way to go when tightening it back up. Hi all my mate beewee 100 has a 7 wire cdi, he wants to fit a aftermarket cdi, but is having trouble finding one.  The only aftermarket one I have seen has a patch lead connected to a 5 wire cdi giving it 7 wires total. The picture was not good and I could not see which wires are run together. Any inpu/idea's on this. Curent wiring ...

My mojo gt50 does 118Kph by gps, this can be confirmed by a few people, no wind flat ground and it is happy to sit on 80Kph for hours. Also yamaha australia no longer do 50cc scooters in 2013
